Lada Alger, L.Ac., is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in 2023 and previously completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) at East Carolina University in 2014. Lada holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Pediatrics from National Medical University in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she graduated in 1990. training at the outpatient clinic of the China Beijing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With over 30 years of experience, Lada integrates her extensive knowledge of TCM and conventional medicine, enabling her to analyze and address the underlying mechanisms of her patients’ symptoms effectively. Lada specializes in treating a wide variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, autoimmune disorders, allergies, migraines, digestive issues, skin conditions, gynecological concerns, and infertility.
